The Dream Puts Keyshia Cole in Time Out?

Last month, Queen Bey (Beyonce) released a snippet to her song, "Bow Down/I Been On" and it seems as if EVERYONE had an opinion about it.  If you haven't heard the song, the link below will let you take a listen.

If you don't have time to listen, here's what Lady Bey had to say in this very short snippet: "I took some time to live my life / but don't think I'm just his little wife / Don't get it twisted … get it twisted / this my s--t / bow down bitches,"  (Keep in mind...these are her words NOT mine.)

The song caused such a stir on social media sites, talk shows and blog sites but, one response in particular that stood out amongst the rest was the twitter response from Keyshia Cole.  @KeyshiaCole tweeted: "First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now b----s better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the s--t. But when I speak my mind its a prob. #Well #StayMad."  She also wrote, "Can't stand when people all self righteous when it's convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh-- when convenient 2 FOH."

I don't know....maybe Keyshia took the song personally.  But, whatever her reasons were for feeling some type of way about this song, her words have now placed her in the "Time Out Corner."  At least that's where Producer & Song-writer, The Dream has put her for right now.
During a recent interview with a New York radio station The Dream was asked how he felt about the tweets from Keyshia Cole in reference to his close friend Beyonce and if he can see himself hitting the studio with Keyshia for some new music any time soon.  His response was, "Right now because of what happened, I can't. I think she would respect why I can't. That's my family."  He went on to say,  "I have nothing but love for Keyshia. I worked on her last album and we went on a tour maybe two or three years ago, but of course I can’t support it..I can’t work with her under what’s going on"

How does Keyshia feel about it?  She doesn't seem to be to phased.  She responded to The Dream saying,  "Dream not writing any songs for me is fine… I'm on my 6th album… He’s only wrote 1 song on 1 of my albums, which i did love, God Bless."

I just don't see Keyshia Cole as the type of woman to "Bow Down" in this situation.  She's a great artist and performer and I think the Beyonce Team is seeking an apology from her.  If they get an apology from Keyshia it will definitely SHOCK me.  The ONLY WAY I see that happening is if The Dream is NOT the only producer, writer or artist who's feels that they can no longer work with her under these circumstances.  If it begins to effect her career- then and only then do I foresee an apology.

But...if Beyonce's husband Jay-Z can can add strife to Chris Brown's life because he messed with Rihanna in the wrong way.  Then I will not be surprised if Mrs. Carter has the same type of pull and is able to keep Keyshia Cole in Time Out.  #ASKABOUTME
