Of course you know by now that I love watching good quality "feel good" tv. And sometimes for whatever reason that does include a little bit of DRAMA. This is why I have fallen victim to the world of Reality TV. Or at least I used to be a victim. As of lately I've only been holding on to a few that I really love: R&B Divas, Love and Hip Hop ATLANTA, and every now and then I will watch the crazy Braxtons. But all in all, I'm pretty much exhausted from all the reality shows and wasn't the least bit concerned when rapper Shawty Lo lost his deal for that terrible reality show, "All My Baby's Mama's." I mean, what kind of ignorance was that about???? And so sorry for the ex's of men with money and some form of celebrity whose show "Starter Wives" was removed from network tv and placed on the web. What I would like to see happen is a switch in format for Reality TV. I think BET had the right idea with the "Real Husbands of Hollywood." Although the show is sort of like a mock reality show...it's hilarious and the big switch in format is all about the cast.....THEY'RE ALL MEN! Now this is different and likeable. We all know that a bunch of women brings a bunch of drama. Not that men don't have the occasional "Mitch Fit," just not as often as women. And I truly believe if a network like TV ONE or BET or even VH1 developed a Reality show where the cast were all men, it would set Reality TV on a different plateau. But not just any men. I want to sit down and watch the reality in the lives of men like, Pete Rock and CL Smooth; Rakim; The male R&B group Shai. Make a reality show about what they have been up to in their careers and personal life. And if you're looking for Drama....I'm sure all of these men are married, in a relationship or divorced with kids which always gives off Drama. What do you think. Who would you include in your ideal cast of an all male reality show?
